About the Owner
Stephanie has art running through her veins! Owner and momprataneur has realized a vision of sharing her talent, and love for art with others. Stephanie holds a Bachelors of Fine Art from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and a Masters of Art Education, from Kean University in NJ. She worked as an art educator for a number of years before she was blessed with motherhood to three wee ones. As a part time, and to keep the creative juices flowing, Stephanie worked as an instructor at the very popular Pinot's Palette, in Somerville NJ, where the seeds of her vision began to grow. Stephanie wanted to share more than just the average paint and sip experience to the public. She saw a business where the sky was the limit to various projects that adults and kids alike would enjoy. This was the birth idea of create heART studio. The studio offers, step by step instruction in various paintings and projects, such as wood burning into cutting boards, painted accessories, painting on ornaments and wine glasses. The menu will soon expand to include making a beautiful art journal, book making, nailhead and yarn art on wood, embossed paintings, felted paintings, and so much more. Stay tuned for these new ways of art expression, all with step by step instruction for successfull pieces anyone can do.
Philanthropy
Stephanie is super passionate in creating the business along with giving back. She plans on setting money aside from each class so she can offer free classes to inpatients at hospitals in the area. Her philosophy is that nourishing the soul through creativity and art making helps the body fight and recover from whatever ails them. She's worked before with the Robert Wood Johnson Cancer Institute in New Brunswick, NJ, and plans on going back and offering her services through create heART studio.
CHS is dedicated to helping your cause as well. We will work with you to create the best fundraiser event for you. A great example of this is the Jordan Chance Fundraiser. THis painting was customized for the client, and the event was able to raise $680.
