Spring is Here

By Georgine La Serna April 3, 2026

Hi everyone,

Spring break is here (or just around the corner!) and if you’re anything like me, you might be wondering…
what are we doing with the kids all week? 😅

I put together a few simple ideas to help keep things fun, balanced, and maybe even a little relaxing for you too.

🎨 Creative Activities (a lifesaver!)

Kids love having something hands-on to do, especially when they can create, move, and express themselves.

If you’re looking for something structured, All Children's Art Center of NJ is running Spring Break Camp with art, theater, games, and creative activities.

It’s a great option for kids who love to stay busy, make friends, and try new things.

🌳 Get Outside (even for a little!)

Even an hour outside makes a big difference:

  • park visits
  • nature walks
  • picnic lunches
  • playground time

Sometimes simple is best.

🎭 Try a “Home Show”

This one is always a hit:
Have your kids put on a mini show for you
(costumes encouraged 😄)

It keeps them busy and builds confidence.

📚 Don’t Forget the Library

Local libraries often have:

  • crafts
  • story time
  • free activities

Perfect for a low-key day.

💛 Keep It Simple

Spring break doesn’t need to be packed every minute. A mix of:

  • creative time
  • outdoor play
  • one or two structured activities

goes a long way.

If your kids love art, performing, or just being creative, definitely check out what All Children's Art Center of NJ is offering this week.
